Alaskan Malamutes, also known as Alaskan dogs or Alaskan Malamutes, originate from Alaska in North America and are one of the oldest sled dogs. They are sturdy, powerful, muscular, and have deep chests; when standing, their heads are held high with alert and curious eyes, giving an impression of vitality and great pride. Their heads are broad, with triangular ears that stand erect when alert. Their coat is thick, with outer fur long enough to protect the soft undercoat. They come in various colors, including gray, black and white, and reddish-brown.
